Dr. Kendalyn Lutz-Craver
Dr. Kendalyn Lutz-Craver is a 1996 graduate of Shelby High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1999 and completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2003 also at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Dr. Lutz-Craver and her husband Newton have resided in Shelby since their marriage in 2003. They have three children, Joe, Rowan, and Aveleigh keeping them on their toes. Dr. Lutz-Craver is active with the PTO at her children’s schools.
Dr. Lutz-Craver is active in her community with her involvement in the Cleveland County Chamber of Commerce, Shelby Breakfast Rotary Club,
Dover YMCA, and the Episcopal Church of Redeemer. She is a graduate of the American Leadership Forum – Charlotte Region through the Lee Institute. Dr. Lutz-Craver has served as a dental representative and past Chairman of the Cleveland County Board of Health.
Dr. Lutz-Craver is also active in Dentistry through her local Isothermal Dental Society including being a past president, the North Carolina Dental
Society, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and
the Pierre-Fauchard Academy. She has studied with the Pankey Institute in
Key Biscayne, Florida, and the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in Scottsdale, Arizona, focusing on comprehensive dental care, and is a past Fellow with the International Dental Implant Association. She has also enjoyed being a CEREC Mentor allowing her to pass on her knowledge of one visit dentistry to colleagues through assisting with courses in Scottsdale. Dr. Lutz-Craver has traveled several times to the Dominican Republic to not only further her dental knowledge but donate services focusing on third molar (wisdom) tooth removal and implant placement.
