Eaker, a highly skilled and passionate dentist, is joining our esteemed team at Cornerstone Dental Associates starting TODAY, August 1st! With his exceptional educational background and diverse professional experiences, Dr. Eaker brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice.

Dr. Eaker holds a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the prestigious East Carolina School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in May 2023. Prior to pursuing his dental career, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at North Carolina State University, solidifying his foundation in the field of healthcare.

During his clinical rotations in Greenville, Sylva, Spruce Pine, and Elizabeth City, Dr. Eaker provided comprehensive care for over 350 patients under faculty supervision. His dedication to exceptional patient care is further demonstrated by his ability to diagnose and treat more than 50 patients in emergency situations. With over 2,000 clinical hours and collaborations with faculty specialists in various dental disciplines, including Periodontics, Pediatrics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Oral Medicine, Dr. Eaker is well-equipped to provide comprehensive and personalized dental treatments.

Beyond his academic achievements, Dr. Eaker has actively contributed to the dental community. As a Didactic Tutor from August 2020 to July 2021, he assisted fellow students in mastering basic scientific and preclinical knowledge within the first-year curriculum. Through weekly group sessions and individual tutoring, Dr. Eaker fostered an environment of academic excellence and collaborative learning.

We couldn’t resist the temptation of National Ice Cream Month, so our team gathered for an ice cream celebration today! As dentists and dental staff, we’re known for promoting healthy smiles, but hey, even we have a sweet tooth! Here’s to cherishing these moments of joy, unity, and tasty treats as we continue to support each other and care for our amazing patients!

The National Ice Cream Month festivities didn’t stop after our staff ice cream party today! We wanted to extend the celebration to our wonderful young patients who brighten our practice with their smiles. We surprised our young patients who had appointments with an extra treat—a complimentary cone coupon from Dairy Queen!
We are incredibly grateful to Dairy Queen Grill & Chill for their generous support in making this gesture possible. Their contribution of free cone coupons not only brought smiles to our patients’ faces, but also helped us reinforce the importance of good dental health and the positive experiences we strive to create!

Yesterday was a winning day for us at Cornerstone Dental Associates! We had an absolute blast at the Charlotte FC game for our team outing. We cherished the time spent together, enjoying a delicious dinner and cheering on our favorite team!

But that’s not all… We are thrilled that our newest member of the Cornerstone team, Dr. Eaker, was able to join us. Dr. Eaker will be officially joining our team very soon, and we couldn’t be more excited!

From meet and greets with life of the party Bo the Bull Dog from Gardner-Webb University to Shelby Police K-9, who wowed us with their impressive demonstration, and Canine Design Salon, Spa and Resort and Hope Animal Hospital, who provided complimentary nail trimmings and dental consultations respectively, and of course Hope’s Chest Inc. who shared their precious adoptees with the community – thank you for your valuable contributions!
Let’s also not forget the Cornerstone and RollOver Pets giveaway that got tails wagging with excitement! And a big thanks to The Hog N Dog Too Food Truck for satisfying our hunger and allowing the Cornerstone staff to enjoy a delicious lunch together.

Today, we lit up the office with smiles and laughter as we celebrated Dr. Massey-Williams’ 40th birthday, coming up this Saturday! It was a day filled with joy, surprises, and heartfelt appreciation for our incredible dentist. Wishing you a wonderful year ahead filled with success, happiness, and continued dental excellence, Dr. Massey-Williams!

It was an honor being one of the sponsors of the 5th Annual Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby Party at The Banker’s House this weekend! We had such a wonderful time watching the race and spending time with incredible members of the community, while also being a part of a great cause!

We are so excited to officially roll out Cornerstone Cares Café!  Each quarter, our Café will be featuring a local coffeeshop and non-profit organization.
