Last night was a night to remember at the Junior Charity League of Shelby, NC’s Beads for Needs Mardi Gras Social—and we were proud to be the Title Sponsor!

Our very own Dr. Karner, a proud league member for 12 years, had the honor of speaking at the event. She shared how she has witnessed firsthand the incredible impact this organization has on children in need—ensuring they have proper clothing and the confidence to thrive.

In celebration of Children’s Dental Health Month, Dr. Karner and Dr. Massey-Williams had the amazing opportunity to visit Jefferson Elementary School and Pinnacle Classical Academy this week! It was a joy to step into the classrooms and talk with the students about the importance of good oral hygiene — from how to brush and floss properly to understanding the effects of sugar on their teeth and beyond!

We’re so grateful to both schools for welcoming us and allowing us to share these healthy habits with their students. Together, we’re helping build brighter smiles and stronger dental routines for the next generation!

Dr. Massey-Williams and our Dental Assistant Bethany had a fantastic time representing Cornerstone Dental Associates at Gardner-Webb University‘s Health & Wellness Fair this week! 

We loved connecting with students and faculty, sharing tips for a healthy smile, and spreading the importance of good oral care. Thank you, Gardner-Webb, for having us!

This month, we’re celebrating YOU by sharing a little extra love at your visits. Each patient will receive a special Valentine’s Day card as our way of saying thank you for trusting us with your oral health.

Dr. Lutz-Craver had an incredible time at the Seattle Study Club Annual National Symposium in beautiful Key Biscayne, FL!

This year, she was joined by fellow members of our local Seattle Study Club, including Dr. Brent Delong of Gaston and Cleveland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Jenna Stover and Dr. Haleigh Bass of Stover Family Dentistry in Gastonia. Plus, a special shoutout to Dr. Zach Evans of Foothills Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, who was featured in one of the lectures!

The symposium, held at the Ritz-Carlton, was a fantastic opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow alongside incredible dental professionals—all while enjoying some Florida sunshine with their spouses!

Secret no more! 🎁 Today, our Cornerstone family celebrated our annual holiday tradition in style! We kicked off the day with a road trip to Raleigh filled with Christmas movies, gifts for our staff, and delightful breakfast and charcuterie snack boxes from The Homestead Boards.

Our destination? The North Carolina Museum of Art, where we were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the conservation room, a guided tour, delicious lunch, and even got to see a Picasso masterpiece! 🖼️🎨

Moments like these remind us of the joy of togetherness and the incredible team we’re so lucky to have. Here’s to the holiday season and the bonds that make us stronger year-round!

Today was a heartwarming reminder of what our community can accomplish together! We spent the afternoon packing up all the toys donated through our toy drive, and we’re thrilled to share that thanks to your generosity and our amazing partners at North Point Custom Builders and Orthodontic Associates, we were able to deliver 470 toys to Jefferson Elementary School to benefit Shelby City Parks’ Carrousel Christmas Toy Drive! 🎄

These toys will help bring joy and smiles to local children this holiday season, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our patients, staff, and community. 💚

Special thanks to The Caffeine Monkey and ShelbySpice for adding extra holiday joy to our office and community — the drinks were delicious, and we had such a fun time making stockings together for our spicy stocking stuffers!🎅✨
